I confess. Prior to finding out about SEO applications and Web promotion field, I considered that Google was perfect. I Googled anything from celebrities, to pictures, to news to obscure gadgets and blindly trusted the search outcomes. Then I heard about SEO tools and a new field specializing in promoting sites, and my attitudes changed. But even before my revelation, having done a bit of introspective musings, I got a feeling that search engines, Google to boot, know far from all, and reveal to the web community a tiny portion of that.

My Google travails soon persuaded me that Flikr is a better image data bank, that with the assistance of feeds I can access great news stories without having to rummage through Google search retrieval (rummaging seems more fitting than Google search), and people search is best managed by Facebook. It seems that whenever I search for strange gadgets on Google, the results are often inaccurate, to put it mildly. Try searching for SEO tools and other SEO related subjects on Google and you are almost ready to lose your self-control. I mean, come on, what’s the connection between SEO applications and online education sites or Internet casinos? It happens in my disappointment.

But here is another thing that irritates me and other backlink checker users, I am certain. There are people who purchase SEO tools and use them to sell shoeson career sites and the like. What we see is junk that not only permeates the net but is also well ranked by search engines.

What is the user perspective on this? People Google SEO app reviews and will instead find junk content. They get disillusioned. So much for the “Internet fairness”. Does this imply that SEO program and service field is bad? I don’t think so.

The unethical users of SEO programs need to stop brutalizing the Internet but it’s like asking hackers to stop hacking. The sad thing about it is that black hat SEOs are abusing the chance to be noticeable on the Net that is given to the no-name person like me. For now users just have to be patient with them. One can only hope that Google will put more emphasis on finding the schemers abusing SEO programs, and if Google doesn’t, the next search engine will.
